Babar Azam becomes all-format captain, says dream come true, will seek the advice of Azhar and Sarfraz

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday announced that Babar Azam has replaced Azhar as Test Captain and now he will represent Pakistan as all-format captain. Babar Azam said that he remembered his old days when he was a ball picker in a test match and now he will be leading the team in all formats. He further added his dream come true and he will seek advice from Azhar and Sarfraz whenever needed.

Babar has played good cricket for Pakistan and there was a time when he was just thinking how it would feel when he will get a chance t play for pakistan. In recent years he is the top player for pakistan. He always scored runs and helped pakistan to win a lot of matches.

Babar Said that ” I have played under and learnt a lot from Azhar and Sarfraz. And I will definitely seek their advice and pick up things from their mindset which will help me become a good Test Captain”.

Babar Azam Career

He was born on 15th October 1994 in Lahore. He is the Right Hand Batsman and his ICC ranking in test matches is 5, in ODIs 3 and in T20s 2.

He has played 29 Test matches for Pakistan in which has scored 2045 runs.

He has played 77 ODIs for Pakistan in which he scored 3580 runs.

He has played 44 T20s for PAkistan in which he scored 1681 runs.
