IOCL (Indian Oil Corporation Limited) welcomed the new year 2021 with the hike in LPG price. IOCL reviews the prices of LPG every month and then announces the new rates. In 2021, IOCL has not made any changes in the prices of 14.2kg LPG non-subsidized Cylinders which are used in kitchens. The prices of 19Kg LPG cylinder has been increased in 2021.
LPG Price of 14.2 kg Cylinder remains unchanged
The 14.2 kg non-subsidized LPG cylinder in Delhi is only Rs 694 on the IOC website and Rs 720.50 in Kolkata, Rs 694 in Mumbai and Rs 710 in Chennai.
In December 2020, the IOC had increased the prices of LPG twice, raising the prices by Rs 100 which was much higher in this year. On December 3, there was an increase of 50 rupees and after this, on December 15, the price was increased by Rs 50. The increase has been made on 14.2 kg domestic and 19 kg commercial cylinders without subsidies.
LPG Price of 19kg Cylinder
It is a piece of good news that the prices of LPG cylinder 14.2 kg hasn’t increased but there was a hike in 19kg cylinder prices. According to the IOC official website, now you have to pay Rs 1349 in Delhi. Earlier the price was 1332. Now you have to pay rs 17 more for the 19kg LPG cylinder. In Kolkata, the price was changed to Rs 1410 from Rs 1387.50. In Mumbai, the price was changed to Rs 1297.50 from Rs 1280.50. The price in Chennai was changed to Rs 1463.50 from Rs 1446.50.
On Which cylinders government gives subsidy
It is important for you to know that the government gives the subsidy on 12 cylinders of 14.2 kg. If you need to buy more than 12 cylinders of 14.2 kg, you need to buy extra cylinders at the market rate. The prices of LPG cylinders are fixed by IOC after each month.
