Mumbai Indians defeats Delhi Capitals
Mumbai Indians has defeated Delhi Capitals on Thursday 5th November 2020. The match was played at Dubai International Cricket stadium. Delhi capitals won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Chasing a score over 200 was a very difficult task. Early wickets taken by bumrah and trent boult make sure that delhi can’t win this game. The next match will be more interesting as Prithvi Shah hasn’t delivered with the bat in last 3-4 matches. So it will be interesting to see that Delhi capitals makes some changes or not.
Quinton De Kock started in a positive way and scored 15 runs in first over. Rohit Sharma got out for duck on first ball by Ashwin. Suryakumar Yadav played an brilliant inning with Ishan Kishan. Both these batsman scored hal centuries.
In the last 3-4 overs , Hardik Pandya played beautifully and scored 37 runs in just 14 balls by hitting 5 big sixes. Ashwin took 3 wickets and Stoinis took 1 wicket.
Delhi Capitals got the worst start as they lost three wickets without scoring any run. Bumrah took 4 wickets and Trent Boult took 2 wickets. Marcus Stoinis played good cricket and scored 65 runs in 46 balls before getting out to Bumrah. Axar patel also played good cricket and scored 42 runs in 33 balls. These two batsmen played some good cricketing shots. With the help of these runs, Delhi Capitals was able to score 143 runs.
They still have one more chance to reach into the finals. The next match will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad. The only positive thing Delhi Capitals got from this match is that Stoinis scored runs and looked in a great touch.
Delhi can fight back in next match and will look to defeat Mumbai Indians in next match. Mumbai Indians are in the final for sixth time.
