Schools to remain closed news is fake?
If you use social media then you must have read this news which states that all the schools and educational institutions to be remained closed till the 30th November 2020. But do you know this news is fake or true? Press Information Bureau confirms that this news is totally fake.
The centre has not released any orders like this. Many people have shared this news on social media which says that the schools and educational institutions to remain closed till 30th November and thus fake news is trending on social media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
” In exercise of the powers conferred under section 10(2)(1) of the Disaster Management Act 2005, the undersigned hereby directs that guidelines for reopening issued vide Ministry of Home Affairs’ orders of even numbers dates 30.09.2020 will remain in force up to 30.11.2020.

PIB confirmed that the headline is misleading and the news spread on social media is totally fake. According to the MHA guidelines, States and Union Territories will decide when to reopen schools and colleges and when they can start or resume the face to face learning process again. According to the MHA guidelines, the schools and colleges will prepare their own SOPs ensuring health and safety for all students and teachers.
