Russia’s sputnik V vaccine for corona virus may reach india next week for phase 2 trails. The medicine will reach kanpur’s Ganesh Shankar Vidayrthi Medical college by next week.
when the sputnik V Medicine will reach india then vaccines phase 2 trial and human clinical phase 3 trails will start.
The decision about conducting phase 3 human trails was taken when Dr Reddy’s laboratories got approval from DCGI ( Drug Controller General of India ). College principal RB Kamal said that human trials will start from the next week.
Approx 170+ volunteers have been registered for this trial. Sourav Aggarwal, who is the head of Research will determine what dosage of the sputnik V Medicine will be given and then condition of the volunteers will be examined. After this it will be analyzed that they need further dosage or not .
RB Kamal also said that regular and periodically checkups of these volunteers will be done and then it will be analyzed that the vaccine is successful or not.
The medicine will be given to these volunteers once or twice in the interval of 21 days and then for seven months, the effect of this medicine will be examined. This vaccine will be kept at the temperature of -20 to -70 degree Celsius.
The Russian direct investment fund will distribute over 100 million dosages to Dr. Reddy laboratories on regulatory approval.
Sputnik V became the first registered medicine for coronavirus and this medicine was registered by ministry of health of Russia on 11th August 2020.
The number of corona cases started to rise in India and throughout the world. At present, USA is receiving higher number of corona cases on daily basis. In India the cases was decreasing for a while but now again , cases started to increase. Everyone is waiting for the successful trial of the medicine and we can expect delivery of this vaccine soon after successful trial.
